Singer-songwriter Crys Matthews draws from the musical spectrum of Tracy Chapman, Sweet Honey in the Rock, Woody Guthrie, and Joan Baez. A preacher’s kid, Crys learned about the power of music to entertain, inspire and motivate audiences to engage in societal change.

Through her voice and guitar, she has entertained crowds at The Birchmere, Jammin’ Java, the Sundance Film Festival, the Kennedy Center, Ted Talks, and NPR. Come listen to music that will move you to tap your feet, clap your hands, and maybe even transform the world.

Tickets for this concert are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Children under 16 attend for free. A portion of the BRUU profits will be shared with the local PFLAG chapter.
