Amy Hamilton
 Hi!
My name is Amy Hamilton and my husband is David and we have
2 children - Rachel (16) and Eric (20). I was born and raised
in North Western Pennsylvania and have lived 3 years North
of Baltimore and 15 years in Rhode Island before moving here
7 years ago. Proud to be a "Stay at Home Mom", I
am highly untrained to handle commuter traffic in Northern
VA!
I
put my energies into my family and home but my big love is
Gardening and anything with Nature. I have a "Backyard
Wildlife Habitat" and belong to the "Prince William
Wildflower Society" and the "Haymarket Town and
Country Garden Club". I did a Butterfly count from May
to October as a part of a study to determine the effects of
Urbanization on butterfly diversity.
My
favorite musical group of all time is "Steely Dan"
but I love Bluegrass, Cajun and Celtic music. BRUU is my 2nd
UU church and I am really enjoying the many people and activities
associated with it. Through the Voluntary Simplicity Circle,
I have discovered that the three values I am striving for
are Harmony, Humor, and Balance. May BRUU always be a place
of discovery and learning!
