Bull Run Unitarian Universalists (BRUU) is the Unitarian Universalist Church in historic Old Town Manassas, Virginia. Unitarian Universalism has roots in the Protestant Reformation and the Judeo-Christian heritage. Our members reflect a wide range of theological views from liberal Christianity to Humanism. This diversity enlivens and enhances each member’s search for truth and meaning, strengthening our commonly held values of justice, equity, and compassion through an open democratic process. |

for which you've been looking. We are an active church with an informal
style, each of our services unique. To experience our diversity of
thought and action you may want to attend several services.
Our History in Brief Bull
Run Unitarian Universalists was chartered in September 1982 by 24
members. The growing congregation met in a number of locations including
members' homes until the move to our present location
at Main and Church Streets in Manassas in 1999. |

| Sunday
Morning
Our services are at 10 to 11 on Sunday mornings with announcements at 9:55. Services are followed by coffee and conversation in our newly reconstructed Fellowship Hall below the Sanctuary. During the services, religious education is conducted for children of all ages and youth. Our three superb choirs and solo musicians will often lend their talents to the services. Our sanctuary and social hall are handicap accessible from the street via elevator and we also have a handicap accessible unisex bathroom. Joining In Our activities, committees, music program, and religious education offer many opportunities for participation. If you are new to Unitarian Universalism or new to this Congregation join Reverend Nancy McDonald Ladd for the ”UU in a Nutshell" class. We’ll talk about UU history, how our congregation works, what membership entails, and many other things. We’ll also try to answer as many questions as possible.
