Cathy Ring, one of the two “founding mothers”, shared her story about one of the countless gifts that BRUU has given her.  Many years ago, during the early days of BRUU, Cathy’s husband, also a founding member, told her that he was leaving for another woman.  He told Cathy that he understood how much BRUU meant to her and he did not want to take away any of those good feelings. He would no longer attend.

At Cathy’s request, her husband called friends, another founding member couple, to tell them that he was leaving.  On Sunday morning when she walked into the BRUU house she remembers the feeling of being enveloped in a room full of floating rainbows of balloons and soap bubbles.  The loving touches and caring words of her BRUU family lifted her up and help her know she was safe and loved.  These are feelings that survive and are renewed for her at BRUU to this day.
