Young people struggle to get their ideas accepted by older people, especially those in positions of power/responsibility. The level of “acceptable risk” in advocating for one’s ideas varies by age and what you have to gain/lose. One of our UU principles is to respect the inherent worth and dignity of every person. This Sunday Service explores how age gets in the way sometimes, and how youth and guile can overcome barriers established by old farts who think they always need to be in charge.
