Adult Life Enrichment
The Adult Life Enrichment (ALE) program offers adults and teens, including people who are not members of BRUU, a slate of courses, seminars, and workshops that relate to the seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism. It is our hope that adults will find many opportunities for spiritual growth herein.
Most ALE programs at BRUU take place on the evening of the third Monday of the month. We assemble in the Fellowship Hall between 6:00 – 7:00pm (most months…) for dinner. If you choose to bring food to share, even better. At 7:00pm, we break out into a variety of workshops which inform and create opportunities to explore our Unitarian Universalist values.
In addition, on the first Sunday of each month there is a Bible Discussion Group. We meet 9:00-9:45 am in the Flamingo Longe, in advance of the Sunday Service. For details, contact BDG@bruu.org
Sangha Meditation Practice is 7:00-8:00pm every Thursday night. Point of contact: sangha@bruu.org The Quaker Friends meeting is each week on Wednesday night, 6:00-7:00pm. Contact: music@bruu.org for more info and to let us know if you’ll be attending.
For more information, or to suggest a workshop offering for future ALE events, please contact Kristin Worthington, Director of Lifespan Religious Education at dre@bruu.org
